Startups and SMEs linked to the 53 competitiveness clusters are performing better than the French average.

An independent study conducted by Motherbase for the French Association of Competitiveness Clusters highlights the concrete impact of cluster support on business performance. Growth, access to financing, economic strength, and regional roots: companies operating within these ecosystems grow faster and integrate more effectively into strategic sectors. These results illustrate the model's ability to transform innovation into sustainable economic value and strengthen the competitiveness and industrial sovereignty of regions.

A new material from FuturaMat obtains the "OK Biodegradable Soil" certification

For over three years, FuturaMat has been working closely with GRIPLAST to develop an innovative solution: a protective sleeve for young shrubs, 100% biodegradable in the soil, without any harmful residue. The challenge was significant:

  • Design a material that could be processed by extrusion,
  • Guarantee sufficient mechanical strength,
  • Ensure a lifespan of at least 18 months in a terrestrial environment.

Polymeris celebrates its 20th anniversary!

In 2025, Polymeris, a competitiveness cluster dedicated to rubber, plastics, and composites, will celebrate 20 years of innovation in the service of sustainable transformation in the industry.

With a multiplex broadcast from Oyonnax (01), Charbonnières-les-Bains (69), Orléans (45), Dijon (21), Bordeaux (33), and Vitry-sur-Seine (94), Polymeris' Anniversary General Meeting brought together more than 200 participants across the six sites. It was an opportunity to reaffirm its key role in supporting innovation projects towards a greener, more digital, and more sovereign industry, while consolidating its position as a European leader in advanced materials.

Take part in a study on the recycling and recovery of used plastics in the healthcare sector.

The aim will be to draw on existing studies and experiments, as well as to call on healthcare establishments, manufacturers and recyclers to characterize the ways in which plastics can be recovered in the healthcare sector, and to assess the level of maturity of actors in the field.
