Technological axes

They have been designed to meet the global challenges of digital and ecological transition, by enabling the development of intelligent, safe and sustainable products.

These three priority areas, known as Areas for Strategic Action (ASAs), have been broken down into priority themes. “Advanced materials” is a cross-disciplinary topic, as there is some overlap with the circular economy and digital industry.

The 12 priority themes cover the entire value chain, which is represented by our industrial and academic members, from upstream processes, focusing on materials and new formulations, to downstream processes, including product end-of-life and all transformation processes.

Technological building blocks, known as innovation drivers, will be used to guide strategic thinking on the priority themes selected.
