Since 2010, French competitiveness clusters have been helping innovative companies strengthen their equity capital through a national certification program, the “Innovative Cluster Enterprise” (EIP) label. In 2021, the clusters within the French Association of Competitiveness Clusters sought to give new momentum and strengthen their support for securing private funding to fuel the growth and internationalization of startups and innovative companies. This national certification initiative highlights the scientific foundation and market potential of innovations developed in France by drawing on the combined perspectives of technology and market experts from both the public and private sectors.

The goal of this rebranded label, now called “hi France,” is to facilitate access to investors.
