Publication date:

IndTech 2022 is a flagship event on the European agenda, organized every two years by the European Commission in one of the countries holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. As part of Horizon Europe's Cluster 4 "Digital, Industry and Space" program, this event mobilizes the main European and global players on the theme of tomorrow's industrial technologies.

During the IndTech 2022 conference, we were able to attend conferences on various topics: the ecological and digital transition, circularity and sustainability, AI for industrial manufacturing, European partnerships and European know-how at the industrial level, human-centered technologies, emerging cutting-edge technologies and youth in science and technology.

Patrick VUILLERMOZ, Annabelle SION-HENRY, Sophie DUEZ, Amélie GOUSSEAU and Paulina BERGANZA BECERRA attended IndTech2022 representing the cluster. On the occasion of this conference, Polymeris set up a village with 5 stands where we exposed the projects AMULET, RIGHTWEIGHT, AI REGIO, ELCA Cluster and DigiPrime.

We had the opportunity to meet national and European collaborators who are part of the consortiums of the European projects of which Polymeris is part. Several members of the European industry have expressed their interest in working with our cluster in the framework of European projects, which has allowed us to prospect and exchange with future collaborators at the European level.

We also had the opportunity to welcome and exchange with several personalities of the Industry at the European level within our village, it was the case for Doris Schröcke responsible for the programs of industrial research, innovation and investment of the European Commission and DG Research and Innovation as well as Klauz Beetz, CEO of EIT Manufacturing who interviewed our President General Patrick VUILLERMOZ as well as Annabelle SION-HENRY, Responsible for European projects and partnerships at Polymeris.

Finally, IndTech2022 was a springboard to improve the visibility of industrial technologies, to identify policy options and priorities, to share information and to compare views, as well as a privileged space to meet key Horizon Europe industrial partners and thus set up common objectives between all stakeholders.
