Closure of the European CIRCVET project on August 31, 2025:
what are the results of the project?

Launched in September 2022 and funded by the Erasmus+ program, the European CIRCVET project aimed to strengthen circular economy skills in the plastics sector through comprehensive training for students, training centers, and company employees. Coordinated by AIJU and carried out with 11 European partners, including Polymeris, it aimed to develop innovative, accessible educational content tailored to these different audiences.

After three years of collaboration, the results are in line with the targets set:

  • The creation of a comprehensive, free training course available in seven European languages, covering key topics (eco-design, LCA, digital skills, manufacturing processes, recycling, entrepreneurship, etc.). (Full PDF attached in English)
  • More than 300 students and 100 companies involved in the testing and validation phases.
  • An e-learning platform (project-spaces.eu) that will remain accessible and regularly updated.
  • Wide dissemination with over 7,000 visits to the website, 4,000 visits to the platform, nearly 500 LinkedIn subscribers, 110 publications, 3 promotional videos, and 9 articles in the technical and local press.

Polymeris actively contributed to the co-development of training modules, particularly those dedicated to entrepreneurship, and to the dissemination of results in France, by mobilizing its industrial and academic network. The cluster also participated in the organization of pilot events and in promoting the project's achievements to French companies.

Although the project officially ends in August 2025, the partnership dynamic will continue: the training platform will remain open to all and will continue to evolve to support the circular transition of the plastics sector in Europe.
