Project Spotlight – Au3Ra Platform: Sustainability and Circularity in Packaging

The Au3Ra platform is a multi-site, multi-partner resource platform deployed in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, dedicated to improving the sustainability and circularity of packaging.

Led by Industrial Technical Centers (CTIs), it aims to support stakeholders in the packaging sector in adapting their products, processes, and industrial models in line with regulatory, environmental, and industrial developments.

Launched in February 2023, the project is co-financed by the ERDF and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. It has been certified by Polymeris, attesting to its alignment with the cluster’s innovation themes.

JEC World 2026: Three Days at the Heart of the Composites Industry

From March 10 to 12, 2026, Polymeris, alongside the Techtera textile competitiveness cluster, participated in the JEC World trade show, an international gathering for the composites industry. Located in Hall 5 – Booth F97, the joint pavilion served as a hub for manufacturers, partners, and innovation leaders.

A collective pavilion to showcase expertise
Throughout the trade show, the Polymeris & Techtera pavilion highlighted the expertise of its co-exhibitors:

Project Spotlight – GREENFISH: Toward Biodegradable Fishing Lures

Led by VELAY INNOVATIVE FISH (VIF)—under the NEED2FISH brand—and certified by Polymeris as part of the BOOSTER call for proposals, the GREENFISH project (2022–2025) addresses the core environmental challenges associated with sport fishing. Its goal was to develop hard and soft lures that are biodegradable in aquatic environments, as an alternative to conventional plastics and lead-containing materials. At the intersection of materials innovation and market expectations, this project has provided the first concrete solutions to reduce the environmental impact of a rapidly evolving sector.

A look back at LOPEC 2026: structural electronics at the heart of global innovation

For the first time, Polymeris participated as an exhibitor at LOPEC 2026, the leading international event for printed electronics and functional materials.

Alongside Print'Up Institute and leading industrial and academic partners (CEA, ADDEV Materials Healthcare, Linxens Healthcare, Kelenn Technology, and Toray Films Europe), the cluster was able to assert and strengthen its position in smart polymers and structural electronics.
