Decarbonization of the chemical and plastics industries:
Support and financing through PACTE Industrie and Decarb Flash

The DECARB FLASH 2025–2027 initiative, administered by ADEME, is part of the France 2030 plan, implemented by the French government, and the “Fit for 55” package, led by the European Commission.

Is your industrial site in the chemical or plastics industry located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and not subject to the EU ETS?

Would you like to structure your approach and receive guidance on taking action and making the associated investments?
Do you have a decarbonization project ready to be implemented and would like to receive financial support to take action?

Two key programs to help you take action:

• PACTE Industrie
  Funded support to help you structure your decarbonization strategy (training, studies, and coaching; implementation of the ISO 50001 standard).
• Decarb Flash
  A call for projects managed by ADEME as part of France 2030, open until February 15, 2027, which supports mature industrial projects aimed at reducing fossil fuel consumption, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and improving the competitiveness of your site.

Investments between €100,000 and €3 million are eligible for grants of up to 60%, depending on the size of the business and the type of project.

• Example of support provided by the IPC Technical Center (plastics industry)
• Presentation of the Decarb Flash call for projects as applied to the chemical and plastics industries
• Feedback from industry: one case study from the chemical industry and one from the plastics industry (subject to change)
